Costa Rica

VacationCity evolved from a traveling love affair with Costa Rica. Mitch and Peggy Chandler, two Texas natives, traveled throughout Costa Rica for 10 years, journeying to every little corner of the country. They experienced everything from the most sophisticated hotels and resorts in this tropical paradise to the most isolated and basic accommodations nestled in the cloud forest mountains or on one of the many isolated pristine beaches of the Caribbean and the Pacific. In their travels they not only met many friendly and helpful Ticos but they also met many international travelers who also relished their experience in Paradise. The most common complaint they heard from fellow travelers was that there was no full service booking agency that could help them with all aspects of there trip from planning to reservations. The complaint was that once a travel agency was paid for their services they became very difficult to reach and it was almost impossible to adjust travel plans, especially from within the country.

Taking to heart the plight of fellow travelers and because they loved Costa Rica so much Mitch and Peggy settled in the country and began the process of building the biggest Personal Service Travel Agency in the Americas. Understanding the needs of travelers and being aware of how all existing travel agencies failed to deliver real full service this traveling couple decided to set some important goals in creating a Person to Person Travel Organization.
